Local Membership

Joining our local group costs you just £6.00 p.a (£5.00 by Standing Order) and helps us organise slide shows, talks and walks. You also get a copy of our programme of events and coach trips. We try to give our birding activities a friendly social flavour and if you would like to join just call Jane Overall on 01628 525712 or click here for a Membership Form. Alternatively, simply turn up at one of our talks and we'll do the rest.  

National Membership

WE NEED YOU! The government listens to the RSPB because we have over a million members. But it's only just over a million and that means that we need extra new members to be safe. Join now and make a difference! Your membership will not only help us to protect the environment but when you join you get:

• a free RSPB bird feeder (with seed), or the RSPB Handbook of British Birds.
• a free copy of the superb RSPB 'Birds' magazine 4 times a year
• free entry to over 100 RSPB reserves
• free membership for 3 months if you pay by direct debit

Annual membership costs just:

• One adult - £34.00 yearly or £2.84 monthly
• Two Adults - £44.00 yearly or £3.67 monthly
• Two Adults and all children - £50.00 yearly or £4.17 monthly
• One Child - £15.00 yearly or £1.25 monthly
• Two or more Children - £25.00 yearly or £2.09 monthly

The RSPB also has a division called 'Wildlife Explorers' which specifically caters for junior members and is automatically included in family membership. It can, however, be taken out on its own for £15 p.a. or alternatively for £25 p.a. for two or more children per family.
