The RSPB

a million voices for nature

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is a charity dedicated to the long term protection and conservation of wild birds. Founded in 1889 it is now Europe's largest conservation organisation with over a million members and works towards an environment rich in birds and wildlife.

In the UK the RSPB manages more than 240,000 acres spread across 140 nature reserves whilst globally it works with other bird organisations through the 'Birdlife International' partnership.
