Please Opt-In to RSPB Communications

Say YES logo
Without your opt-in the RSPB cannot keep you informed.

This is because new rules come into force in May 2018 that are designed to give people more control over their relationship with charities and business. The RSPB wants to do whatever it can to keep supporters connected so that we can all continue to do amazing things for nature – from hearing about local groups, taking part in campaigns, doing practical conservation work, raising money or even taking part in Big Garden Birdwatch.

The "Say Yes" logo

An enclosure with the winter 2017 edition of Nature's Home magazine tells you how to opt-in. This is an important enclosure for RSPB members.  Please take care of it as it specifies your unique contact number, that you will need to opt-in. If you have joint membership then there will be two unique contact numbers and you both have to opt-in independently.

If you have not opted-in by May, giving your express permissions for how the RSPB can contact you, the RSPB will not be able to keep in touch directly (except about your membership).

This webpage – rspb.org.uk/yes – allows you to specify how you want to keep in touch. Alternatively anyone can call 0300 777 2610 (calls charged at standard rate, Mon-Fri, 9am-8pm). If webpages and phone calls are not your thing, then you can fill in the enclosure and freepost it.
