Walks/Outings

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Our programme of events, including coach trips, is open to everyone, you do not have to be a member of the Group to attend. Beginners are especially welcome. On outdoor trips, there is always someone on hand to act as a guide and to assist with wildlife identification.

2. Outdoor trips, involve a good deal of walking. It is important to have suitable footwear and warm clothing. The weather can change quickly at any trime of the year and some reserves are in remote and exposed locations.

3. Trips require personal travel arrangements which may include car sharing.

COACH TRIPS

1. Cost: Adults - £18.00; Under 16's - £9.00

2. Seats must be booked and fully paid for at least one week in advance whilst early reservation helps us guarantee the viability of booking the coach. (Cheques payable to RSPB please). All money will be refunded should the trip be cancelled.

3. Pick up point is the layby in front of the entrance to Braywick Park (Braywick Sports Ground), Braywick Road, Maidenhead, SL6 1BN (click here for a map, SU891799).

4. Free parking is available adjacent to the pick up point.

5. The coach leaves at 7.00am and usually returns between 7.00pm and 8.00pm. A packed lunch is advisable.
